I’m Abbi, a young creative living in the tiny village of Tebay right in between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. I’m passionate about learning how people lived in the past and what they wore.
I offer historical interpretation for schools, museums, heritage and cultural events, specially tailored around local history or school curricula.
I make historical clothing and costumes, which I wear for interpretation, and also sell. I spend a lot of time researching historical fashion and clothing and historical techniques, and try to keep my costumes as close to historical accuracy as possible.
I also act and love making costumes for productions I’m in.
